Research
The research and development of new technologies and materials is a regular and important part of our work. The pro epi institut considers that it is not only a detailed understanding of different materials and of available production processes which are crucial for the success of psychosocial reintegration, but also that the consistent pursuit of innovative improvements in the production process will ultimately help those affected.
Staying in close contact with our patients, beyond the mere fitting and treatment stages, continually contributes to improving our skills, our services and our support services. In this, we are also supported through our collaborations with other institutes and clinics. This enables the pro epi institut to ensure that methods, material selection and manufacturing processes are always state of the art.
Dr Matuschek is particularly interested in researching ways to improve material properties and the surface structure of epitheses.
